Passengers returned from other countries by international airport includes Oman (2), Qatar (2), UAE (2), Kuwait (1), Saudi Arabia (1) and Singapore (1). Passengers returned from other states by domestic airport includes New Delhi (10), Uttar Pradesh (6), Andaman and Nicobar Islands (2), Andhra Pradesh (2), Assam (2), Bihar (2), Punjab (2), Sikkim (2), Chandigarh (2), Odisha (2), Telangana (1) and Uttaranchal (1). Passengers returned from other states by road includes Kerala (7), Andhra Pradesh (6), karnataka (5), Madhya Pradesh (2), Uttar Pradesh (1), Bihar (1) and Telangana (1). Out of 88 deaths due to COVID-19, 65 are in Government Hospitals and 23 are in Private Hospitals. Two Private Testing labs namely Agam Diagnostics, Sambakulam, Madurai and Department of Micro Biology, SRM MCH, Tiruchirapalli has been recently approved and hence the total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities gets increased to 119.
